Unbelievable Golf Swing Balance Drills To Impress You
Balance is one of the most important things you need to learn as you try to become a good golf player. There are so many things that will depend on this, and it is for the same reason that you have to make sure you put in the best effort in an attempt to become better at this.
With a good balance on the course, you will be in a good position to drive the ball longer. This is indeed one of the desires of so many players on the course, so it should not be too difficult for you. The following are some basic drills that will help you manage to improve your swing balance, and eventually improve your game too:
- Tee the ball properly
- Monitor your weight
- Set the trigger finger
Tee the ball properly
This is where so many players go wrong most of the time. At the back of your mind with the driver, it is important for you to hit the ball with an ascending swing. You need to do this so that you can deliver shots that will go as high as you want them to, while at the same time delivering a low spin rate.
The concept here is to help you get the best top speeds for the distance you want to achieve. To do this, try and make sure you play the ball further forward in your stance. In fact, have the ball set off the inner side of your left foot, or where possible, off the left toe.
Monitor your weight
Weight transfer is important when you are performing any swing balance drills. Ideally, you need to keep your weight balanced all through the stages of the swing. Do not stop the balance at any given point until you have executed the perfect swing.
Take some time and watch the professional players on TV and you will notice that even as the swing finishes, they still maintain the perfect or near-perfect balance. On the contrary, beginners tend to fall back immediately they have made contact.
Set the trigger finger
The most important thing that you need to realize is that you should release the club fully through impact. Allow the club head to go beyond your hands as it gets into the hit zone, in the process generating enough power on the ball.
Once you can work on these drills effectively, you will be in a good position to play better golf from time to time.
